Urgent requirement: occupational health and safety officer (Tennessee)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Trousdale County, Tennessee. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Your main tasks: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports 4+ years on the tools preferred.
