Immediate opening: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Isabella County, Michigan. You will work in a chemical processing unit. Day to day you will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Part-time with flexible hours.
