Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Douglas County, Nebraska. You will be based on a structural steel site. The role involves clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
