Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Franklin County, Mississippi. The role involves: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Six days a week, one day off.
