Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Jefferson County, Missouri. The job is on a commercial construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day The role involves: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
