The role involves charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; fault-find control boards and defrost timers.
