Foundry worker — Darlington

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Darlington, England. The role involves apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around £140 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
