Sample machinist wanted in Los Alamos County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Los Alamos County, New Mexico. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams The role involves: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
