MIG/MAG welder wanted in City of Suffolk

Join our team: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in City of Suffolk, Virginia. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test You will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
