Render and set plasterer wanted in Mitchell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Mitchell County, North Carolina. You will work in a refurbishment property. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work On a typical shift you will float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $190 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
