Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate You will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,750 per project, based on your experience.
