Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator.
