Horizontal milling machine operator — Duplin County

Join our team: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Duplin County, North Carolina. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On the job you will handle: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery 2+ years on the tools preferred.
