Rebar installer — Hocking County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar installer in Hocking County, Ohio. You will work at a high-rise construction project. On a typical shift you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
