Great opportunity: we are hiring a floor screeder in Fulton County, New York. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. On the job you will handle: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
