The role involves change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Rotating shifts.
