Cold store insulation technician — Caldwell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Caldwell County, Kentucky. You will work on flat roofs and terraces. Your main tasks: • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters You should have: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
