What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat The role involves label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency.
