Sewing machine operator — Cheshire West and Chester

Join our team: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Cheshire West and Chester, England. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams On a typical shift you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift.
