Argon welder — Wythe County

What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day to day you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through.
