Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska. You should have: • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets The role involves: • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights Performance bonus on top of base pay.
