We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar installer in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
