Aluminium tig welder wanted in Yadkin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Yadkin County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
