CO2 welder wanted in City and Borough of Birmingham

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CO2 welder in City and Borough of Birmingham, England. The role involves: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £7,800 per project, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
