Commercial tyre fitter wanted in Naugatuck Valley Planning Region

Vacancy available: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Naugatuck Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based in a fast-fit workshop. On a typical shift you will keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe. What we are looking for: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Valid driving licence for mobile fitting roles • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
