Great opportunity: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in La Salle County, Texas. On a typical shift you will install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls Six days a week, one day off.
