Join our team: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Rockingham County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Your main tasks: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
