Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Warren County, Iowa. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. The role involves lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Rotating shifts.
