Tailor machinist — Grant County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Grant County, Oregon. The job is on an export house sewing floor. The role involves meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
