Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Bwari, Federal Capital Territory. The role involves select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
