Sewing machine operator wanted in Wayne County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Wayne County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Day to day you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
