Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment presser in Sutter County, California. Day to day you will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 5+ years on the tools preferred.
