Semi-automatic welder — Kaura

Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Kaura, Kaduna State. On the job you will handle: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent 2+ years on the tools preferred.
