Great opportunity: escalator technician (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Atkinson County, Georgia. You will work on a high-rise construction site. You will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; run load and overload tests with test weights; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
