Sheet metal roofer • Montgomery County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sheet metal roofer in Montgomery County, Illinois. You will work at a roofing and cladding contractor. On a typical shift you will bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
