Urgent requirement: fire and safety officer (West Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Cabell County, West Virginia. You will be based on a high-rise building project. Day to day you will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training 5+ years on the tools preferred.
