Vertical transportation technician — Grafton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Grafton County, New Hampshire. The role involves: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate We offer $17 per hour plus benefits.
