Now hiring: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in North Tyneside, England. You will be based at a busy body shop. The role involves bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio. What we are looking for: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale Rotating shifts.
