Great opportunity: we are hiring a laundry presser in Marengo County, Alabama. On the job you will handle: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine 2+ years on the tools preferred.
