Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Ikere, Ekiti State. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear 1+ years on the tools preferred.
