Argon welder wanted in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area, Lagos State. Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
