We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Derry City and Strabane, Northern Ireland. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. On a typical shift you will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Confident with standard crane hand signals At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
