Dumper truck operator — City of Norfolk

Immediate opening: we are hiring a dumper truck operator in City of Norfolk, Virginia. The role involves: • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
