We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Ideal candidate: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations On a typical shift you will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray.
