Vacancy available: foundry worker (Kentucky)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Montgomery County, Kentucky. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards You will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
