Fabricator-welder — Camden County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Camden County, New Jersey. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
