Falsework carpenter • Caldwell Parish, Louisiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana. You will work at an infrastructure construction site. You will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork We offer $18 per hour plus benefits.
