Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Pitkin County, Colorado. Day to day you will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift.
