Vacancy available: we are hiring a gardener in Polk County, Minnesota. You will work in a public park. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage You will repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
