Shuttering charge hand — Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, England. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level On a typical shift you will watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour.
